The Engineering Report recommended a major expansion of the <br /> mechanical facilities. The project is estimated at$73,000,000 and will increase the plant's capacity to treat <br /> the liquid and solids streams. This expansion is required for the plant to continue to meet treatment levels <br /> required by the City's Department of Energy permit and to meet the plant's capacity needs through 2022. <br /> The Professional Services Agreement will authorize Carollo Engineers to prepare plans and specifications for <br /> construction. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Carollo Engineers for the design of the <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility Phase C expansion for a maximum not to exceed $5,884,080. <br /> 115 <br />
