Permit Eonditiens <br /> General. <br /> 1. The street dosure will be in effect from 6:00 a.m.to 11:30 a.m.on July 4,2010. Street <br /> barricades will be available at intersections,and will be placed by YMCA to block intersections as <br /> approved on the attached street dosure plan at 6:00 a.m. Cars parked in the street closure area <br /> will not be towed or removed. <br /> 2. YMCA may not represent or imply that the event is City sponsored or sanctioned. <br /> 3. At its sole option,City may verify concurrences by adjoining property owners; lack of <br /> concurrence by any adjoining property owner may be cause for revocation or non-issuance of <br /> permit. <br /> 4. Permit may be revoked at any time after issuance if,in the sole opinion of the City staff, <br /> satisfactory compliance with permit conditions is not achieved or maintained. <br /> 5. Material changes to YMCA's plan presented to the city as of February 12,2010 may only be <br /> made by YMCA with the City's approval. In its sole discretion,the City may withhold approval. <br /> YMCA acknowledges that such changes should be submitted sufficiently in advance to allow the <br /> City adequate time to review the proposed changes. <br /> 6. Foot traffic and pedestrian access to business establishments in the street dosure area may not <br /> be blocked or impeded. <br /> 7. In the event any amendment or adoption of an ordinance takes effect before or during the <br /> event,YMCA shall comply with the requirements of such ordinance,even if such ordinance <br /> establishes different requirements than those described in these conditions. These permit <br /> conditions will be deemed to be amended by such ordinance. <br /> Health/Safety <br /> 8. At its own expense,YMCA will provide a minimum security of force of 6 off-duty officers <br /> (through the Everett Police Officers Association)or overtime officers(through the City of Everett <br /> Police Department)to assist with traffic control. <br /> 9. The YMCA coordinator will maintain a cell phone and will be available for cell phone contact <br /> with the lead police officer for the event. <br /> 10. YMCA volunteers and staff that will be working in the roadways will wear clearly visible orange <br /> reflective vests. <br /> 11. YMCA must dean up;the City will not provide cleaning equipment or labor. All clean up will be <br /> completed prior to street opening,but no later than 11:30 a.m. YMCA will be charged for any <br /> fees related to clean-up if not completed to the satisfaction of the City. The City Street <br /> Department will conduct a clean-up inspection. <br /> 12. The permit and closures may be suspended or terminated for life/safety reasons or for failure or <br /> refusal to timely comply with reasonable direction by city personnel,such as police or fire,or <br /> failure to comply with permit conditions. <br /> 13. YMCA will provide sanitation facilities for the public that are reasonably adequate in quality and <br /> quantity. <br /> Vendors <br /> 14. There are no vendors associated with the event. <br /> Financial <br /> 15. From the time of permit issuance through the day after the event, neither YMCA nor any of its <br /> officers may be in default or arrears with any City financial obligation. <br /> 20 <br />
