The Master Planrojects include: improvement to Lowell Riverfront Park,development of a new 3 Acre Park at 36 Street,trail connection and improvements from Lowell Riverfront Park,wetland enhancements and habitat enhancements. The master plan has been coordinated with other City and developer work over the entire site. The Board of Park Commissioners recommended approval at their March 9, 2010,meeting. Addendum#2 to the FEIS,with comment responses, is located in the City Council office. Council approval will allow those critical early phase projects which include trail connections, 3 acre park development,wetland and habitat enhancement projects to move into the permitting and design phase. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Riverfront Development Public Amenities Master Plan. 23
