The project will involve the demolition and replacement of the <br /> bridge over the BNSF railway mainline on the 2800 block of Broadway Avenue. This section of Broadway <br /> is a five-lane principal arterial carrying vehicular volumes in excess of an average daily traffic load of 30,000 <br /> vehicles. <br /> The proposed scope of improvements include demolition,traffic control,utility coordination,bridge structure <br /> replacement(including curbs, sidewalks and illumination), associated roadway improvements,utility <br /> improvements(drainage,water and sewer), outside utility coordination,BNSF coordination and railway <br /> related bridge features,non-motorized transportation improvements, and aesthetic considerations. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize a Request for Qualifications for the Broadway Bridge Replacement project. <br /> 21 <br />
