I <br />Task Descriptions <br />MSA's proposed scope of work for preliminary engineering services for the Northwest <br />Storrawater Separation Project divided into the following tasks: <br />Preliminary Design <br />Task 1 <br />Project Management (Preliminary Design) <br />Task 2 <br />Conceptual Plan Development <br />Task 3 <br />Surveying and Mapping <br />Task 4 <br />Geotechnical Investigations <br />Task 5 <br />Hydraulic Model <br />Task 6 <br />Pavement Restoration Condition Assessment <br />Task 7 <br />Preliminary Design Services <br />Task 14.1 <br />Unanticipated Labor or Expenses <br />Detailed descriptions of each major work task follow. <br />Phase 1— Preliminary Design <br />Task 1 - Project Management (Preliminary Design) <br />This task is for general coordination of the project including coordination of the MSA team <br />and with the City Project Manager including meetings, correspondence and communication, <br />invoicing and project status reports during the Preliminary Design phase of the project. <br />Anticipated elements of this task will include: <br />1.1 Correspondence and Coordination with City — All communication will be <br />coordinated through the City's Project Manager. Correspondence with the City's <br />Project Manager via phone conversations and e-mail will include the communication <br />of project decisions, project status, action items, work activities, and issues requiring <br />City input. <br />1.2 Staff and Subconsultant Management — MSA's Project Manager will manage <br />project staff and subconsultants to ensure all services are in conformance with the <br />scope of work, fee estimate, and schedule.
