H
and to furnish irrigation water for the golf course. This task includes the design
of the flow control structure.
Storfnivater Model — Develop a separate stormwater network within the current
combined system model (InfoSWMM) for the infiastructure proposed as part of
the Northwest Stormwater Separation design. The results from the WWHM
model will be included in the InfoSWMM model.
InzproveMents Validation — The storinwater and sewer system will be modeled
simultaneously and the impact of the separation of flows will be
evaluated. Compare the model results after improvements with existing
conditions. Currently identified size of improvements will be revised as required
to achieve the desired level of service.
Sensitivity Analysis — The system will be evaluated for up to 3 design storms
(likely 25-, 50- and 100 -year occurrence interval with short duration) over a 24 to
48-hour period to determine the level of protection under extreme storm
occurrence conditions. The duration and final configuration will be discussed
with the City. —
5.4 Workshop with City Staff — Conduct a workshop with City staff to review existing
conditions based on data collected and hydraulic modeling results. Confirm project
goals and objectives and refine as necessary to accommodate existing conditions. An
additional iteration of modeling may be required after this workshop to revise
proposed improvement locations and associated sizing.
5.5 Documentation — A technical memorandum will be developed that describes the
stornnwater model development and the validation of the existing combined sewer
model. The documentation will include the improvements validation modeling that
will describe the flows conveyed both before and after the construction of the
Northwest Stormwater Separation project. A draft and final will be delivered to the
City.
5.6 Internal QA/QC— Perform in-house Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAIQC)
review of the modeling assumptions, results and documentation prior to submitting to
the City for review.
Assumptions:
1. The storrnwater model for the collection system will be developed using
InfoSVV'NM and will be set up within the City's existing combined sewer
model.
2. For the design of the pond and control structure the WWHM will be used.
3. City will direct MSA in the use of a design storm.
4. Citi will provide historical flow meter irzfo_rmation. If additional flow data is
required, the City will install meters at locations identified by 1ASA.
<ulitAri ort needed to process _z,v 1odata is not __.1_ded t the scope
,o
Of budget.
25
r R. g. = i, 1`✓llr _C;=' 1' e r \Ci lliA 2L C.OilllVd3f'Cl' Slgjara Licn
Cat "eYe tL i _ i
