Deliverables:
1. Electronic copy of formal "Request for Information".
2. Draft and final workshop meeting minutes in electronic format (PDF).
3. Draft and final model development and validation TM in electronic format.
Task 6 — Pavement Restoration Condition Assessment
This task provides for pavement restoration condition assessment. The results of this
assessment will be utilized in successive design tasks to develop pavement rehabilitation
designs within the project area. Anticipated elements of this pavement restoration condition
assessment task will include:
6.1 Data Request and Information Gathering — Work under this subtask includes
gathering and reviewing all relevant data to the project. A number of documents and
reports will be requested and reviewed as part of this task. MSA will develop a
formal "Request for Information" and coordinate with the City during data collection
to ensure necessary information, if available, is gathered for the project.
6.2 Meet with City Staff -,Attend a meeting with City staff to discuss typical pavement
rehabilitation methods in the City, past work completed in the project area and on the
City's Sewer M project, project specific pavement design approach, budget available
for pavement restoration and other items to inform the assessment and
recommendations process.
6.3 Field Reconnaissance and Documentation — Complete field review of only those
streets within the study area where utility work is planned and document the
conditions in a field review checklist. The checklist will include typical conditions,
special conditions, pavement condition, edge conditions, drainage conditions,
geometrics, curb reveal/condition, access, utilities, condition of adjacent streets,
potential construction impacts, constructability pedestrian access and other conditions
and observations where applicable. In addition to street conditions, missing sidewalk
segments will also be identified. Formal measurement of pavement distress
conditions will not be completed.
The City will complete pavement cores or potholes at locations determined by the
engineer for the purpose of determining pavement thickness, presence of concrete
slabs, and subgrade condition. Coordinate field work associated with pavement
assessment and evaluate pavement core findings to incorporate into design criteria for
pavement restoration reconunendations.
64 Street Condition Assessment and Teehidcal ilfeniomndain — Develop a brief report
summarizing the field review findings and make recommendations for pavement and
curb and sidewalk improvements directly affected by fl,e drainage system ;work as
26
City of Everett MURRAY, Si`tIITFI & ASSOCIATES, K C.
