The excavated soils were used to raise site grades
hid j and construct road grades, drainage control features and as trench backfill
material. Fill placement and compaction was monitored on a full-time basis
y y from September 15, 1989 to October 10, 1989 and on an intermittent basis
t" H from July 17, 1990 to August 20, 1990.
W
Construction and preparation of the subgrades for the road and sidewalk
ny
j areas were monitored on an intermittent basis from January 30, 1990 to
y October 11, 1990. Recommendations for the pond
liner material were provided at your request and placement of this material
_ was observed to be in accordance with our recommendations.
M' CONCLUSIONS
f Based on our observations and the results of in-place density tests
Cduring project construction, it is our opinion that the geotechnical aspects
' for Phases I and II of the Hanabrook Proj^.ct have been completed in general
compliance with the plans and specifications and in accordance with our
recommendations.
