These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by <br /> other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or tare). All references refer to the 2003 <br /> International Residential Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State <br /> Energy Code 2004 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for (lie processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br /> to provide the Ituilding Division wntln two complete new sets of drawings <br /> reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> These comments are from our letter to you dated September 28, 2005. <br /> r Regarding Item 2 of tie previous letter - Please provide structural calculations for the <br /> thickened slabs ability to support the column loading from the 5 1/8" x 19 1/2" GL. <br /> r Regarding Item 3 of the previous letter - See Sheet 2 and 3, stair width is dimensioned 3'- <br /> 4" center to center of framed walls which leaves 3' - lh" between studs. With tile addition <br /> of lh" gwb on each wall the clear width of the finished stairs would be 35 'h". <br /> Y Regarding Item 6 of the previous letter - Please provide structural calculations and <br /> resulting connection detailing for the roof training of the shed dormer. Please address <br /> horizontal thrust induced by rafters to collar ties. <br /> Y Regardin Item 8 of the previous letter - Please provide structural calculations for the 2 x <br /> 10 floor Joists that support the attic walls which support the shed dornte- roof. We are <br /> getting a 13% overstress in bending and unacceptable deflection. <br /> Y Mr. Engelson, Washington State Law requires architects to stamp and dgn all drawings <br /> prepared by them when filed with public authorities.
