You were notified of the need to plant the landscape <br />according to the plans approved by the City's Planning Department in a voice mail on <br />March 31, 2003, and a follow up letter dat •d April 8, 2003. (sec attached). As of this dale <br />the corrections necessary to bring this property into compliance have not been performed. <br />Pursuant to Chapter 19.35.030, the Planning Department shall review and may appro%C, <br />disapprove or approve with modification all site/landscape plans for all uses and <br />developments which arc required to provide landscaping in accordance with the <br />requirements of individual zones and the provisions of this chapter. This chapter shall <br />apply under the following circumstances: <br />1. Description of Violation <br />19.35.030 (A) New Develonnment <br />All new uses shall provide landscaping in accordance with the requirements of this <br />chapter when the use -standards table indicates a particular landscape category applies to <br />that use or when a particular landscape category and/or additional specific landscaping <br />requirements are imposed as part of a discretionary pennit review process. <br />19.35.050 (C) Tvpe III: Ornamental Effects Landscaping <br />Type III landscaping is iniendCd to provide a visual separation of uses from streets; and <br />visual separation of compatible uses so as to soflen the appearance of the devaopment <br />from public streets and soften the appearance of parking areas, buildings, and other <br />improvements. <br />VIOLATION CITATION - <br />City of Beret.
