CITY CF EVEREIT <br />RESIDENTIAL FIRE SPRINKLER PERMIT <br />(13D AND 13R SYSTEMS) <br />MINIMUM SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Three complete sets of plans and calculations are required (one set will <br />be directed to the Fire Marshal's office for their review). Plans are to <br />be submitted to the Building Department (second floor, 3200 Cedar Street) <br />and must be accompanied by a completed permit application (plan <br />submittals will not be accepted by mail). <br />The following information must be included on the plans. If any of the <br />items listed below are missing the plan review will stop until the <br />information has been provided. <br />1) Name of owner and occupant <br />2) Location, including street address <br />3) North arrow <br />4) Ceiling construction <br />5) Building section(s) <br />6) Location of fire walls <br />7) Location of partitions <br />8) Use of each area or room <br />9) Location and size of concealed spaces, attics, closets, and <br />bathrooms <br />10) Any small enclosures in which no sprinklers are to be installed <br />11) Size of city main in street, pressure and whether dead-end or <br />circulating and, if dead-end, direction and distance to nearest <br />circulating main, city main tests results including elevation of <br />test hydrant <br />12) Make, manufacturer, type, heat -response element, temperature <br />rating, and nominal orifice size of sprinkler <br />13) Temperature rating and location of high -temperature sprinklers <br />14) Number of sprinklers on each riser, per floor <br />15) Kind and location of alarm bells <br />16) Type of pipe and fittings <br />17) Type of protection for nonmetallic pipe <br />18) Nominal pipe size with lengths shown to scale <br />19) Location and size of riser nipples. <br />20) Type of fittings and joints <br />21) Types and locations of hangers, sleeves, braces, and methods of <br />securing sprinklers, where applicable <br />22) All control valves, check valves, drain pipes, and test <br />connections <br />23) Underground pipe size, length, location, weight, material, point <br />of connection to city main; the type of valves, meters, and <br />valve pits; and the depth at which the top of the pipe is laid <br />below grade (this is required for all systems including combined <br />domestic systems). <br />24) For hydraulically designed systems, a representation of the <br />hydraulic data nameplate and it's proposed location. <br />25) Name, address and license number of contractor <br />26) Certificate of competency stamp on each sheet and calculations. <br />
