CITY CF EVEREIT RESIDENTIAL FIRE SPRINKLER PERMIT (13D AND 13R SYSTEMS) MINIMUM SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Three complete sets of plans and calculations are required (one set will be directed to the Fire Marshal's office for their review). Plans are to be submitted to the Building Department (second floor, 3200 Cedar Street) and must be accompanied by a completed permit application (plan submittals will not be accepted by mail). The following information must be included on the plans. If any of the items listed below are missing the plan review will stop until the information has been provided. 1) Name of owner and occupant 2) Location, including street address 3) North arrow 4) Ceiling construction 5) Building section(s) 6) Location of fire walls 7) Location of partitions 8) Use of each area or room 9) Location and size of concealed spaces, attics, closets, and bathrooms 10) Any small enclosures in which no sprinklers are to be installed 11) Size of city main in street, pressure and whether dead-end or circulating and, if dead-end, direction and distance to nearest circulating main, city main tests results including elevation of test hydrant 12) Make, manufacturer, type, heat -response element, temperature rating, and nominal orifice size of sprinkler 13) Temperature rating and location of high -temperature sprinklers 14) Number of sprinklers on each riser, per floor 15) Kind and location of alarm bells 16) Type of pipe and fittings 17) Type of protection for nonmetallic pipe 18) Nominal pipe size with lengths shown to scale 19) Location and size of riser nipples. 20) Type of fittings and joints 21) Types and locations of hangers, sleeves, braces, and methods of securing sprinklers, where applicable 22) All control valves, check valves, drain pipes, and test connections 23) Underground pipe size, length, location, weight, material, point of connection to city main; the type of valves, meters, and valve pits; and the depth at which the top of the pipe is laid below grade (this is required for all systems including combined domestic systems). 24) For hydraulically designed systems, a representation of the hydraulic data nameplate and it's proposed location. 25) Name, address and license number of contractor 26) Certificate of competency stamp on each sheet and calculations.
