Board of Adjustment Minutes <br />7une 28, 1982 <br />Page - 2 - <br />L10TION: Frank Wilson moved to approve the request for variance subject to the <br />following three conditions as listed in the Board of Adjustment Report. <br />:;ECOND: Dewey Barnett <br />VOTE: Unanimously in favor TO GRANT THE VARIANCE. <br />Item 2: <br />Applicant: <br />Variance Requested: <br />Address: <br />Zoning: <br />Ervin R. Thompson <br />4928 West View Drive <br />Everett, WA 98203 <br />A variance from E.M.C. Sec. <br />19.14.050 for pernission to allow a <br />single family residence to be built <br />that would range frem 6 feet to 15 <br />feet from the rear property line <br />rather than the 20 feet required by <br />City Code. <br />4009 Nassau St. <br />R-1, Single Family iow Density <br />Residential <br />` Dewey Barnett disqualified himself from this item as he has Been a friend of the <br />applicant for fears and Mr. Thompson's daughter works for Mr. Barnett. <br />Don Wood presented the Staff Report and a letter from Donald Lyderson, attorney for <br />Ivan 7ohnson who owns abutting property to the south of 4009 Nassau and is opposed to <br />granting the variance. Don also gave the Board members a plot plan showing the building <br />envelope and explained why Mr. Thompson was requesting the variance. <br />Gary Wing, owner of Lot 9, and Carl Nelson, owner !._ot 8 of Vassau View Tracts stated <br />they had no objectirn to granting the variance. <br />Mr. Thompson, the applicant, stated he would be a good neighbor. <br />MOTION: Frank Wilson moved to grant the variancc provided that detailed building plans <br />be reviewed and approved. <br />SECOND: Doug Zook <br />VOTE: Unanimously in (avor TO GRrW f THE Vi\RIANCI:. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.
