H. STRUCTURAL STEEL: <br />1. All steel, except pipe: ASTM A-36. <br />Pipe: ASTM A-53, type E or S. Grade H. <br />All bolts ASTM A-307/ASTM A-325. <br />2. All fabrication, erection and detailing in accordance with <br />the latest edition of the "Manual of Steel Construction" of <br />the American Institute of Steel Construction. <br />3. All welding by certified welders in a-cordance with the <br />"Welding Handbook" by the American Welding Society. <br />4. All welds 3/16" min. continuous fillet welds using AWS A5, <br />E70XX electrodes. <br />Weld beam hanger assemblies with continuous 1/4-inch fillet <br />welds on one side of each component. <br />5. Provide washers and lock washers on bolted connections. <br />6. All steel not emhedied in concrete or masonry to receive <br />one shop coat of .n approved primer paint. Apply two coats <br />of heavy asphaltic paint to all steel exposed to earth. <br />7. Furnish complete shopdrawings prior to fabrication. <br />8. Metal roof deck fabricator to submit shopdrawings showing <br />layout, welding patterns at sunports, perimeter and ride <br />laps,,thus providing a diaphragm capable of resisting <br />1st ral shear forces as shown. Provide steel headers at all <br />oYings through the deck to ratirfactortly distr:�ute the <br />:oad to supporting members. <br />I. MISCELLANEOUS: <br />1. Contractor to verify al; dirensions in the field. <br />2. Verify size and location of n11 nnenings in floor, ro f <br />and walle with mechanical and electrical work. <br />?. Provide temporary bracing ap required until all permanent <br />connections and :tiffeniner have teen installed. <br />4.
