ComDly with latest edition of the N.F.P.A. "Natidnal <br />Design Specifications" as modified by the U.B.C. for ail <br />structural timber requirements. <br />3. Joists and rafters to have 2" thick solid blocking at supports. <br />4. Joists to be anchored to m: :nry walls.with 10 ge•. j <br />x 40" steel anchors (with 2 hooks) 6 4'- Q" 6.0. max. <br />Nail to Joists or blocking with 8-10d nails. <br />g. Spike all laminated members together with 10d nails 4 <br />12" o.c. staggered. Splice laminations ac support only. <br />6. Provide cut washers for all bolts and nuts bearing on wood. <br />T. All nails shall be common wire nails. <br />8. Plywood: <br />Roof sheathing to be " C-D IFT-APA with exterior glue, <br />P. I. 24/0 with one nlyclip at midsoan. Plywood nailing <br />8d @ 6" o.c. at panel edges, P.d Q 12" o.c. at intermediate <br />supports. <br />Subflooring to be 5/8" C-D INT-APA, P- I. 32/16. <br />Use T & G, if no underlayment. Plywood nailing 8d C 6" o.c. <br />at panel edges, 8d Q 10" o.c. at intermediate supports. <br />10. Pre-fal�rtcated trussed members to be designed by a Washin ton <br />State licensed engineer and in accordance with the require- <br />^ents shown.
