� <br />2. The buildinct exists and is maintained in violatien of specific <br />requirements applicable to such buildings provided by ordlnance of �, <br />the City of Everett and specified in the Ilniform Housinq C�r'^ : <br />relating to the condition of such buildings. <br />3. The building is in such a condition as to censtitute a public ; <br />nuisance known to the canmon law or in equity jurisprudence. � <br />p, The building has been in a dilapidated and deteriorated condition <br />and abandoned for a period in excess of six months so as to <br />constitute an attractive nuisance ancl hazard to thr_ public. <br />VI The building shall eithe: be repaired in accordance with the current <br />Dutlding Code or shall be demolished. <br />VII Since the building is uninhabitable in its present condttion, it shal] <br />remain vacant until such time as the building is repaired in accordance <br />with the current Building Code or demolished. <br />VIII If the owners elect to repair the buildina according to the �uilding <br />Code, all permits must be secured therefore ar.d the work physically <br />canmenced within ?0 days of the date of this Order. �ll such work must <br />be cormleted in accordance with the Building Code within 90 days of the <br />date of this Order. <br />IX If the owners elect to demolish the building, al] required permits must <br />be secured therefore within 30 days of the date of this Order. Such <br />demolition must be canpleted within 90 days of the date of this Order. <br />X If the required repair or demolition is not canmenced within the time <br />set forth in paragraphs VIII and IX, the E3uildi.ng Official wil] order <br />the building to remain vacant and proceed to cause th� building to be <br />demolished and charge the costs thereof against th^ proPerty or its <br />owners. <br />XI Any person havinq any record title or legal interest in the building may <br />appeal from this Notice and Order to the Housinq �dvisory and l�ppeals <br />�oard. Such appeal must be in writing as is required in the Uniferm <br />liousing Code and filed with the 8uildinq Official within 30 days from <br />the date of service of this Notice and Order.
