Morgan: /�/ <br />As you are aware, the City of Everett has been conductin9 an Environmental Check- <br />list Revie `o o construct a 12 unit, 3 story addition to the <br />oxist g 747 apartment complex ocated adjacent to Deverly L�ke in South Everet•.. <br />The rev ' has been completed and it has Ucen determined that <br />the current sitc plan which has been submitted is u�acceptable. The city will <br />be unaUle to grant Duilding Permits for this propo=al. This determination was <br />made on the basis of information generated during r�ur revicw of your environ- <br />mental checklist, including several site inspecCiens and specific comments sub- <br />mitted by ceveral City departments. Copies of these conunents are included for. <br />your information. <br />Substanfive authority to deny or condition an action is granted the responsible <br />official (the Planning Director) in Section 16 <�L Ordinance 5�2-79, the City'� <br />implenentiny ordinance for the State Gnvironmencal Policy Act. The denial is basr_d <br />on specific adverse i.mpacts which would occu�- if khe project were to be imT�le- <br />mented.
