The following exit and exit -access doors which serve in the means of egress system for <br />the A-3 Occupancies should be shown to have panic hardware, unless no lock or latch <br />will be used: 128.2, 134, 136, 137, 138, 154.1, 154.2, 157, 157.1, 101, 101.1, 163 & <br />163.1. Sections 1007.2.5 & 1003.3.1.1 <br />5. It should be verified that Door 163.2 has a 20-minute rating. Section 1004.3.4.3.2.1 <br />6. Illuminated exit signs should be shown at the doors within the A-3 Occupancies and on <br />each side of doors 134 & 163. Section 1003.2.8.2 <br />Accessibility <br />1. The bottom edge of vision panels within doors should be shown no higher than 43" <br />above the finished floor. Section 1106.10.7 <br />2. Toilet room 178 should be shown to be accessible, even though other accessible <br />facilities exist on that floor. Section 1105.2.2 <br />3. The hot water and drainpipes exposed under lavatories should be insulated or <br />otherwise covered. Section 1106.11.7.4 <br />Energy <br />1. The plans should indicate which areas are to comply as heated or semi -heated spaces <br />for envelope requirements.
