RESOLUTION NO. `t <br /> WHEREAS On the 29th day pf December 19 71 the City of <br /> Everett Building Official or his duly,authorized representativq <br /> requested the Everett City Council in regular public meeting to <br /> order that those named in that certain NOTICE OF UNSAFE BUILDING(S) <br /> dated the 17th_day of September , 19 71 (Unsafe <br /> Buildings Roference No. 71-9-83 _), a duplicate original <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein as though set forth in full herein, as the owner(s) of the <br /> unsafe building(s), or structure(s) or portion(s) thereof described <br /> in said notice prosecuted as a violator of the provisions of the <br /> g City of Everett Building Code, Chapter 2. 12 Everett City Code <br /> adopting and amending Volume 1, Uniform Building Code, 1967 <br /> Editionprepared by the International Conference of Building <br /> Officials and further requested the Everett City Council to order <br /> the City of Everett Building Official to proceed with the wort; required <br /> and specified in said notice pursuant to and in accordance with said I <br /> City of Everett Building Code on the grounds of the failure, peglect <br /> or refusal of said owner(s) to comply with the provisions of isa,id <br /> notice, and <br /> WHEREAS the Everett City Council after examining exhibits and hearing; <br /> testimony and arguments and being otherwise fully informed in the <br /> premises makes the following findings: <br /> 1. That said City of Everett Building Code is a valid <br /> existing ordinance of the City of Everett. <br /> 2. That the hereinabove described NOTICE OF UNSAFE <br /> BUILDINGS) was properly issued and served pursuant <br /> to and in accordance with the hereinabove described City <br /> of Everett Building Code. I <br /> 3. That the City of Everett Building Official. is authorized <br /> to request the Everett City Council to enter the hereinabove <br /> described order and that the Everett City Council is authorized <br /> in the r.�ercise of its discretion to so do under the prolfisions <br /> of said City of Everett Dulldiug Code. <br /> 4.
