These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions <br />may be required by other departments (such as Utilities. Planning or Fire). All references <br />refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or <br />Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will he necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. Both buildings are required to be •prinklercd per City of Everett Ordinance 1902-92. <br />2. Both buildings require a monitored fire detection system per Ordinance 1092-92. <br />3. The 5-plex requires the stamp of an architect licensed in Washington. RCW <br />18.08.310 (10). <br />4. One -hour occupancy separations are required at all walls and ceilings I etween garages <br />and living spaces. UBC 302.1. <br />5. One -hour rated doors are required between garages and living spaces. UBC 302.3. <br />6. Exterior walls, Floor/ceiling, and roof/ceiling assemblies are required to be of one - <br />hour fire -resistive construction.
