_ EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Professional Engineering Services for <br />Electrical and Control System Drawing Verification and Conversion at the <br />Everett Water Filtration Plant <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The goal of this project is to develop standardized CAD drawings for the existing Water Filter Plant electrical and <br />control systems. The updated CAD drawings will assist plant staff with equipment maintenance and operations. The <br />development of these drawings will be consistent with the City of Everett CAD and Drafting standards. <br />Phase 1 of the project will establish a library listing each functional area of the Water Filter Plant and the number of <br />updated CAD sheets/drawings required to complete each functional. <br />Phase 1 will also provide updated CAD drawings for the functional area identified as the Back Wash PumpStation. <br />A total of approximately 25 drawings will be produced. <br />The scope will also include field verification of all data on the drawings. <br />Task 1 —Project Management <br />1.1 Preparation of project files and contract information. <br />1.2 Preparation of monthly progress invoices. <br />1.3 Preparation and distribution of production meeting minutes. <br />1.4 Prepare and complete project close out tasks. <br />Task 2 — WFP Drawing Verification and CAD Conversion <br />2.1 Prepare documentation for the project Kick -Off meeting. To include assisting WPCF staff in gathering and <br />reviewing drawings to be updated and converted to CAD. <br />2.2 Retrieve all existing Plant CAD files drawings to be field verified and converted. <br />2.3 Completed drawings will include racic/slot/point number byeach PLC I/O point in addition to the program <br />address (i.e X13, Y30, etc.) <br />2.4 Upon completion of the first 50% of each type of drawings (elevations, CAD conversions, CAD drafts, etc.) <br />submit to City staff in the form of five 11x17 hard copy drawings, toinclude both CAD and PFD formats. <br />2.5 Attend review meetings with City staff at the WPCF to review comments and make appropriate adjustments <br />to the work being completed. <br />2.6 Conduct an internal QA/QC of completed drawings. <br />2.7 Produce five sets of 11X17 final set hard copy drawings.
