I have downloaded all the
electronic copies of the COPP of other Washington cities about our size with a similar form of municipal
government that are available on their websites. I am just now in the process of combining the concepts for an
initial review by the Council Members. We are a charter city so the citizens have already set the initial framework
for us. I attach a link to our Charter in case you find it useful: http://www.cob.org/web/bmcode.nsf/BhamCharter?
OpenView (Article III sets out the provisions for the powers of City Council members and rules of legislation.)
Good luck to you in this endeavor; it is good to see citizens take an active role in guiding public policy-making.
J.
