EVERETT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 10 -YEAR UPDATE DSEIS <br />FACTSHEET <br />Project Title: City of Everett 2008 Update to the <br />Growth Management Comprehensive Plan <br />Description of The proposed action is the annual update of the City of Everett's <br />Proposal and Comprehensive Plan for the 2008 docket cycle, including three <br />Alternatives: applications for Comprehensive Plan map updates, with rezones, and <br />one text update to the City's Capital Improvement Plan, consistent <br />with Growth Management Act requirements. Two of the docket <br />proposals have been processed under separate SEPA titles as DNS <br />Determinations. The action described here is the CEMEX proposal <br />to change use of its 117 acre industrial site to mixed use residential. <br />The applicant proposes to retain 42.5 acres for industrial use. <br />The proposal titles and related requests include: <br />1. CEMEX Revise PDO <br />Alternative 1 Requested Action. Comprehensive Plan amendment <br />allowing conversion of a portion of the CEMEX site to be converted <br />from industrial use to mixed use residential. A site plan has been <br />provided. likely impacts based on scoping and related analysis and <br />studies have been identified. <br />Alternative 2 represents the same scenario with the area east of <br />Glenwood keeping the same R-2 density as is presently allowed. <br />Alternative 3 is no change from the current use, Comprehensive Plan <br />designation and zoning. <br />2.
