Bob Larsen
From: Dave Koenig
Sent: Tuesday, October 06, 2009 12:03 PM
To: Bob Larsen
Subject: FW: Rezoning of CEMEX acres
From: Sabrina A. Layman [mailto:sabrinal@brewelaw.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 06, 2009 7:31 AM
To: Dave Koenig
Subject: Rezoning of CEMEX acres
Mr. Koenig —
As a resident of Everett and a homeowner in close proximity to the CEMEX facility, I am not in favor
of the City of Everett granting a rezone to the CEMEX facility. I have reviewed the Summary
Proposal available online (I would note that the Cover Letter link is not accessible for some reason).
The addition apartments and condos/townhomes in that area in the density suggested by CEMEX is
not supported by the roads or schools in that area. How will Everett maintain the roads? How will
those additional 1,054 housing dwellers travel on Everett roads which are even at this point rough in
many areas? This seems only to benefit CEMEX at this point with the reduction in construction
related jobs and the increase in value of land when rezoned out of Building Park zoning. It does not
improve the City of Everett but does increase the value of a private business.,.
Sabrina Layman ,
Sabrina A.
