Therefore, no fires for the purpose of disposing of construction debris will be allowed. 13. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) may require submittal of a Notice of Construction prior to application for building permits for the proposal. Please contact the local FAA office in Renton. If lighting is required on the tower by the FAA, the Planning Department requests notification of FAA requirements. INFORMATION FOR DEVELOPER 1. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. 2.
