1_ <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AND <br /> BHC CONSULTANTS, LLC <br /> The City and BHC Consultants, LLC agree to amend and modify their professional services <br /> agreement dated August 11, 2008 (the"Agreement") as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, BHC Consultants, LLC and the City entered into an Agreement dated August 11, <br /> 2008 to provide design and services during construction for the Riverfront Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, work is not yet complete on the Riverfront Project for which BHC Consultants, <br /> LLC provide design and services during construction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement will expire prior to completion of the project tasks and the parties <br /> expect the work to be completed by December 31, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, the total amount of compensation stated in the Agreement appears sufficient for the <br /> remainder of the project; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and BHC Consultants, LLC agree to amend and modify <br /> the Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended to read as follow: <br /> This agreement shall commence as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall <br /> be completed by December 31, 2013. <br /> 2.
