The project also included street widening, drainage improvements,traffic signal improvements, and sidewalk improvements. This project was completed in February 2010. A closing Ordinance will be prepared following receipt of all State revenues. This ordinance corrects the funding sources to align the budget and expenditures. The project costs increased because of changes to the project during the design phase, change orders and a delay to the scheduled contractor start date to accommodate utility relocations. The funding sources for this improvement project are: TIB—State Grant $ 500,000.00 Fund 119—Street Improvements 387,600.00 Fund 157 —Traffic Mitigation 675,000.00 Fund 301 —Arterial Streets 120,000.00 Total Funding Sources $1,682,600.00 RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the proposed ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled"Broadway and Beverly Boulevard Intersection," Fund 303, Program 045, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2478-00. 31
