RESOLUTION NO. 3547 <br /> E!/SETT <br /> Resolution Establishing a Coordinated <br /> Design, Development and Permitting Process <br /> For Public Access and Roadway Improvements <br /> Along the Shorelines of Silver Lake <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed, as a matter of policy and in <br /> implementation of the goals of its Shoreline Master Program and other related <br /> programs, to developing a comprehensive design and plan for public access for <br /> and to the shorelines of Silver Lake and for roadway design for the properties <br /> bordering Silver Lake; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council reaffirms that it is the policy of the City <br /> of Everett to provide safe public access to and on the shorelines of Silver <br /> Lake as a recreational and amenity resource, and in fulfillment of the <br /> requirements of the State Shoreline Management Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council reaffirms that it is the policy of the City <br /> of Everett to maintain and improve where possible the water quality of Silver <br /> Lake; and <br /> WHEREAS, uncoordinated design and development of shoreline public <br /> access and roadway improvements to and along the shoreline of Silver Lake do <br /> not provide the full public benefit intended and may result in inconsistent or <br /> conflicting public access designs for portions of the shorelines of the Lake; <br />
