RESOLUTION NO. 3547 E!/SETT Resolution Establishing a Coordinated Design, Development and Permitting Process For Public Access and Roadway Improvements Along the Shorelines of Silver Lake WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed, as a matter of policy and in implementation of the goals of its Shoreline Master Program and other related programs, to developing a comprehensive design and plan for public access for and to the shorelines of Silver Lake and for roadway design for the properties bordering Silver Lake; and WHEREAS, the City Council reaffirms that it is the policy of the City of Everett to provide safe public access to and on the shorelines of Silver Lake as a recreational and amenity resource, and in fulfillment of the requirements of the State Shoreline Management Act; and WHEREAS, the City Council reaffirms that it is the policy of the City of Everett to maintain and improve where possible the water quality of Silver Lake; and WHEREAS, uncoordinated design and development of shoreline public access and roadway improvements to and along the shoreline of Silver Lake do not provide the full public benefit intended and may result in inconsistent or conflicting public access designs for portions of the shorelines of the Lake;
