• <br /> SECTION 00110 <br /> FORM OF PROPOSAL <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> I. MINORITY AND WOMEN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISE <br /> The City of Everett requires active solicitation of subcontracts with Minority <br /> Business Enterprises (MBE's), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE's) <br /> certified by the State of Washington. Although a set percentage of MBE's and <br /> WBE's subcontracts is not required at this time in the performance of the Work <br /> under this agreement, Design/Build/Developers shall solicit bids from MBE and <br /> WBE enterprises for subconsultant and subcontract work required for the <br /> facility. The Design/Build/Developer shall provide the City with the names <br /> and addresses of all MBE and WBE subcontractors solicited and actually <br /> awarded subcontracts and performing work under the Contract. <br /> By proposing on this project, the Proposer acknowledges that this requirement <br /> for the project shall be met. <br /> J. CONTRACT AND BOND <br /> If notified of the acceptance of this Proposal within sixty (60) days of the time <br /> set for the Disclosure of Proposals, the Undersigned agrees to execute the <br /> Contract for the above work, for a compensation computed from the above- <br /> stated sums, on the State of Washington Public Works Contract Form bound <br /> with the Contract Documents and to furnish Bond as required by the <br /> specifications on the form bound therein. <br /> K. GUARANTEE <br /> It is agreed that if the Undersigned fails to execute said Contract and furnish <br /> said Bond within ten (10) calendar days after written Notice of Award of the <br /> Contract, then the Proposal Security shall be retained by the Owner. If this <br /> Proposal is not accepted within sixty (60) calendar days after the time set for the <br /> acceptance of the Proposal, or if the Undersigned delivers said Contract and <br /> Bond, then the check or cash shall be returned, or the Proposal Bond shall <br /> become void. <br /> L.
