WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Chapter Ten of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, as adopted in Ordinance No. 1610-89, and amended by Ordinance No. 1731-90, empowers the City Council to authorize the Building Official to repair, secure, vacate or demolish buildings which present immediate danger to the life or safety of any person; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Chapter Nine of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings as adopted in Ordinance No. 1610-89, empowers the City Council to recover the costs incurred. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: Section 1: An emergency is hereby declared to exist. Section 2: The address of the building is 5201 South 2nd Avenue, Everett, Washington.
