Utility Location and Research <br /> 1. Contract with Parker Fiber Services to provide utility locates for all non-city <br /> primary and secondary utilities (services, etc.). <br /> 2. Coordinate with City Utilities to provide water, sewer and storm sewer mains and <br /> service locates. <br /> 3. Research, contact, and coordinate with utility companies to obtain utility base <br /> maps and/or record drawings for existing power, gas, telephone, and cable <br /> utilities within the vicinity of the project area. <br /> C. Topographic Survey <br /> 1. Provide horizontal and vertical control from the nearest approved City control <br /> monuments(NAD83/91 for horizontal control, NAVD88 for vertical control). • <br /> Determine if establishment of new control monuments are required. Provide all <br /> work in accordance with City of Everett Standards and record in City-supplied <br /> field book. <br /> 2. Set additional temporary benchmarks as necessary to facilitate construction of <br /> the project, including at each street intersection and at the midpoint between <br /> intersections where the distance between intersections is greater than 500 feet in <br /> length or 20 feet in elevation difference. <br /> 3. Collect topographic data including the following: invert elevations for manholes, <br /> catch basins, and cleanouts; verify pipe diameters (noting OD vs. ID); measure <br /> downs in valve boxes to top nut; and surface points adequate to estimate ground <br /> surface to nearest 0.1 feet. Collect information within public right-of-way <br /> including:top back curb, face of curb, gutter flowline, edge of gutter, edge of <br /> 177 <br />
