Items Not Included in This Scope of Services: The following services are not included in this Scope of Services. If, during the course of the project, the need for any of these services is identified, an adjustment to this Scope of Services will be needed. • Environmental studies (wetlands, wildlife, and soil analyses except as provided for in the geotechnical engineering evaluation). • Laboratory testing of contaminated soils. • Potholing of any existing underground utilities. • Additional design meetings or submittals beyond what is specified. • Permit research and preparation of applications, SEPA checklist preparation, and other permit and agency-related reviews and approvals, other than providing figures, calculations, and supporting documentation for the SEPA checklist and WSDOT franchise/utility permits as described herein. • Public involvement, other than assistance for and attendance of the neighborhood meeting • Easement preparation, negotiation, and acquisition. • Pre-construction support services including bid review and bid tabulation, reference check on apparent low bidder, and contract award recommendation to City. • Construction staking. The Contractor will be responsible for staking the proposed sewer line based on reference points set by Roth Hill surveyors during the initial topographic survey. • Leading administration of the construction contract. • Construction surveying • Construction observation/inspection V.
