Items Not Included in This Scope of Services: <br /> The following services are not included in this Scope of Services. If, during the course of the <br /> project, the need for any of these services is identified, an adjustment to this Scope of Services <br /> will be needed. <br /> • Environmental studies (wetlands, wildlife, and soil analyses except as provided for in <br /> the geotechnical engineering evaluation). <br /> • Laboratory testing of contaminated soils. <br /> • Potholing of any existing underground utilities. <br /> • Additional design meetings or submittals beyond what is specified. <br /> • Permit research and preparation of applications, SEPA checklist preparation, and <br /> other permit and agency-related reviews and approvals, other than providing figures, <br /> calculations, and supporting documentation for the SEPA checklist and WSDOT <br /> franchise/utility permits as described herein. <br /> • Public involvement, other than assistance for and attendance of the neighborhood <br /> meeting <br /> • Easement preparation, negotiation, and acquisition. <br /> • Pre-construction support services including bid review and bid tabulation, reference <br /> check on apparent low bidder, and contract award recommendation to City. <br /> • Construction staking. The Contractor will be responsible for staking the proposed <br /> sewer line based on reference points set by Roth Hill surveyors during the initial <br /> topographic survey. <br /> • Leading administration of the construction contract. <br /> • Construction surveying <br /> • Construction observation/inspection <br /> V.
