It is intended to increase trafc.and pedestrian safety'nn City right-of ways,as well as promote the City's <br /> aestheticand-economic development:interests in the CBD. <br /> Currently;`publications use nevwisracks:ofvar#ous shapes,sizes and appearances to distribute their printed materials. <br /> The newsracks increase congestion and clutter nn City tight-of-ways and create a safety hazard to pedestrians,and are <br /> visually unappealing.
