The trial program was determined to be a viable trial in terms of community leadership and <br /> volunteer commitment in the landscape areas of the park. Amendment One to the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding with the Lowell Civic Association adds a second one-year term to continue the work effort <br /> and ultimately allow both parties to conduct an end of trial program evaluation. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment One to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Lowell Civic <br /> Association for the Pesticide-Free Trial Program at Lowell Park. <br /> 161 <br />
