.4' <br /> 1. The proposed amendment to the Zoning Code is consistent with the Housing Element of <br /> the City of Everett Growth Management Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> 2. The proposed amendment to the Zoning Code bears a substantial relation to the public <br /> health, safety and welfare; and <br /> 3. The proposed amendment to the Zoning code promotes the best long-term interests of the <br /> Everett community. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended by Section 12 of Ordinance No. 2397-99 (EMC <br /> 19.03.050) which reads as follows: <br /> Additional zoning regulations. <br /> In addition to the use-standards tables, this title contains a variety of regulations that may apply <br /> to the subject property or a particular use. The following list will help you determine what other <br /> chapters of this title may contain regulations which are applicable. <br /> A. Environmentally Sensitive Areas. Does the subject property or adjoining property contain <br /> streams, wetlands, steep slopes or other environmentally sensitive areas?If so, see Chapters 33D <br /> and37. <br /> B. Are you interested in having a sign placed upon the property?If so, see Chapter 36 for the <br /> requirements for type, size and location of signs in each sign category. <br /> C. Off-Street Parking. To see how many parking spaces are required for a specific use, go to <br /> Table No. 34-1 in Chapter 34. For the B-3 zone,the parking requirements are listed in Chapter <br /> 22. <br /> D. Landscaping Requirements. Details related to the landscape categories listed in the <br /> development standards table are contained in Chapter 35. <br /> E. Small Lot Single-Family Dwelling and Duplex Development Standards. Additional <br /> standards apply to single-family dwellings on lots containing less than five thousand square feet, <br /> and to duplexes in any zone. These regulations are contained in Section 7.010 of this title. <br /> F. Accessory Buildings for Single-Family Residential Uses. Development standards which <br /> apply to buildings which are accessory to single-family uses in all zones are contained in Section <br /> 7.020. <br /> G. Multiple-Family Development Standards. Development standards that apply to multiple- <br /> family development are contained in Chapter 15. Multiple-family design guidelines also apply to <br /> 2 <br /> 62 <br />
