ORDINANCE NO. 2910-06 AN ORDINANCE Amending Attachment A to Ordinance No. 2213-97, An Ordinance Establishing a Planned Action for Southwest Everett to Require Compliance with Revised Critical Area Regulations (EMC 19.37) WHEREAS, the Washington State Growth Management Act (GMA) requires the City of Everett to designate critical areas and to adopt development regulations to protect critical areas (RCW 36.70A.060 and .170 and WAC 365-194-410); and WHEREAS, RCW 36.70A.172 requires that jurisdictions include best available science in developing policies and development regulations to protect the functions and values of critical areas and to give special consideration to conservation or protection measures necessary to preserve or enhance anadromous fisheries; and WHEREAS, the City's best available science review is contained in the following documents and is supported by a comprehensive number of sources as referenced in said documents: • July 1, 1991 memorandum from Katy Chaney, Dames & Moore to Allan Giffen.
