Section 13 : APPLICATIONS AND PERMIT REVIEW PROCESS: <br /> Applications for rezones of property, preliminary and <br /> final plats, special or conditional use permit, <br /> shoreline management substantial development permit, <br /> waiver, exception, temporary use permit, and any other <br /> land use regulatory permit which may be required by <br /> ordinance shall be presented to the Building <br /> Department. When it is found that an application meets <br /> all filing requirements of the Planning, Building and <br /> Public Works Departments, it shall be accepted. The <br /> Planning Department shall be responsible for assigning <br /> a date of public hearing for each application which <br /> date shall not be more than twenty (20) days after the <br /> applicant has complied with all requirements including <br /> completion of the environmental review under the <br /> provisions of the State Environmental Policy Act and <br /> furnished all necessary date to the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 3 : Section 14 of Ordinance No. 692-80 (EMC 2 . 23 . 140) <br /> which reads as follows: <br /> Section 14 : CONCURRENT APPLICATIONS AND PERMIT <br /> REVIEW PROCESS: Any person proposing a land use <br /> project which would require more than one of the <br /> permits or approvals listed in Section 12A of this <br /> ordinance or which in addition to at least one such <br /> permit or approval would require a conditional use <br /> permit or variance under Title 19 of the City Code, may <br /> submit a concurrent application to the Building <br /> Department, on form(s) furnished by the department, <br /> containing all necessary information. The concurrent <br /> application shall thereafter be jointly processed by <br /> the City subject to the most lengthy time limitation <br /> applicable to any of the required permits or approvals. <br /> For purposes of this section the Examiner shall have <br /> all the powers of the Board of Adjustment and the <br /> Examiner ' s decisions regarding issuance or denial of a <br /> conditional use permit or variance shall have the <br /> effect prescribed hereinafter. If any of the required <br /> permits or approvals fall within Section 12 .A. 2 of this <br /> ordinance, the decision of the Examiner as to all such <br /> permits or approvals shall constitute a recommendation <br /> to the City Council, otherwise, the decision of the <br /> Examiner shall be final subject to appeal to the <br /> Council pursuant to Section 18 . The Planning <br /> Department may prescribe a reduced fee schedule for <br /> concurrent applications reflecting cost savings <br /> realized through unified processing. <br /> 9 <br />
