• <br /> • <br /> 1!!!!!!! :i <br /> EkSFETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1956-93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Historical Commission <br /> Ordinance, Ordinance No. 1355-87 . <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 4 (A) of Ordinance No. 1355-87 which <br /> reads as follows: <br /> A. Creation and Size <br /> There is hereby established an Everett Historical <br /> Commission, consisting of nine (9) members, as <br /> provided in subsection B below. Members of the <br /> Everett Historical Commission shall be appointed <br /> by the Mayor and approved by the City Council and <br /> shall be residents of the City of Everett, except <br /> as provided in subsection B3 below. <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Creation and Size <br /> The Commission shall consist of nine (9) members <br /> as provided in subsection B below. Members of the <br /> Historical Commission shall be appointed by the <br /> Mayor with the approval of the Council. <br /> Additionally, two (2) individuals may be appointed <br /> by the Mayor with the approval of Council to serve <br /> in the capacity of alternates. Alternates shall <br /> serve in the absence of members when so asked by <br /> the Commission Chairperson and when serving shall <br /> have the same powers and responsibilities as duly <br /> appointed Commission members. <br /> Section 2 : Section 4 (E) of Ordinance No. 1355-87 which <br /> reads as follows: <br /> E. Compensation <br /> All members shall serve without compensation; <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />
