• <br /> C. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1. Allocate $15,000 for two bus shelters along Everett Transit routes in the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> D. Lowell Neighborhood improvements <br /> 1. Allocate $30,000 for curb, gutter and sidewalk on South Second Street, <br /> south of Main, on the west side. <br /> Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than originally estimated, similar projects, <br /> upon a vote of the Neighborhood, will be funded. If project costs exceed the estimates <br /> given, the lowest priority project or projects will be dropped for funding. <br /> Section 4: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund <br /> 368 to accomplish the "1993 Block Grant Neighborhood Improvements" <br /> Section 5: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is $75,000 which will <br /> include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan <br /> development and associated costs. <br /> Section 6: The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration of the Mayor is hereby <br /> given the responsibility of providing for the street, sidewalk and drainage improvements <br /> as defined herein. <br /> Section 7: The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Director under the administration of the Mayor <br /> is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the parks improvements described <br /> herein. <br /> Section 8 The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to obtain interim financing which may be in any <br /> form permitted by law. Interim financing liabilities shall be paid by the Treasurer as <br /> soon as permanent financing monies, from sources as described elsewhere in this <br /> Ordinance, are received. <br /> Section 9: Funding. <br /> A. The sum of$75,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund No. 368, "1993 <br /> Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Improvements", as follows: <br /> Program 001: Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvement $15,000 <br /> Program 002: Riverside Neighborhood Improvement $15,000 <br /> Program 003: Lowell Neighborhood Improvements $30,000 <br /> Program 004: Northeast Neighborhood Improvements $15,000 <br /> $75,000 <br />
