It shall be the obligation of every person <br /> licensed under this Chapter to provide proper and <br /> adequate illumination of the public dance hall and such <br /> illumination shall be maintained which is generally <br /> distributed in all parts of the premises available for <br /> use by the public. Such illumination shall be not less <br /> than ten (10) foot candles at floor level at all times <br /> when the premises are open for the public or when any <br /> member of the public is permitted to enter and remain <br /> therein. <br /> SECTION 2 : EXPIRATION. <br /> Unless extended by ordinance, the provisions of this amendatory <br /> ordinance shall expire and shall have no effect one hundred <br /> eighty (180) days following its effective date. <br /> SECTION 3 : SEVERABILITY. <br /> Should any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or <br /> phrase of this ordinance or its application to any person or <br /> situation be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, <br /> such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br /> portions of this ordinance or its application to any other person <br /> or situation.
