Consultants already on contract to provide any of the administrative services would attend the <br /> appropriate training described above. <br /> Oversight <br /> The development of training programs should be overseen by the present Task Force subcommittee <br /> on Parking, Model Programs, and Training, which will continue functioning, as needed, beyond <br /> March 1992. The State will also continue to provide technical assistance. <br /> Course Development Responsibility <br /> The intent of the CTR Task Force is to have the state technical assistance team work with the <br /> available resources of local transit agencies, local governments and, if necessary, hire a consultant <br /> to create the training curriculum. <br /> Everett, in conjunction with CT, may supplement the decision-maker orientation, the basic training <br /> course, and the specialized training courses with any additions needed to create a complete package <br /> to meet state and local requirements. Training for ETCs will be customized for Everett and <br /> Snohomish County needs. Local instructor and program reviewer training should be coordinated <br /> with the state technical assistance team to ensure these training programs are complete and tailored <br /> to local conditions. <br /> Training Development Schedule <br /> The schedule for developing training courses is estimated as follows, and may be subject to change. <br /> March 1993 <br /> • Master Trainers (one per county) <br /> April - May 1993 <br /> • Local Instructors (Instruction by master trainers) <br /> • Employee Transportation Coordinators (Instruction by local instructors) <br /> • Program Reviewers (Instruction by local instructors) <br /> May 1993 - and beyond <br /> • Training as needed <br /> The Task Force recognizes the need to support training over and above what is possible with existing <br /> funding, and will pursue additional funding sources. <br /> The Task Force considers public education vital to the success of the CTR Law, and will pursue <br /> additional effort and funding for education and information.
