0IFETT ORDINANCE NO./Q/9-9: AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund entitled "1992 Water and Sewer Construction Fund" Fund 399 to accumulate all Design and Construction costs l'or the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project. WHEREAS, on February 19, 1992, Council adopted Resolution No. 3600 declaring intent to issue water and sewer bonds, and; WHEREAS, on September 23, 1992, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1891-92 authorizing the issuance and sale of water and sewer revenue bonds in the amount of $8,000,000.00, and; WHEREAS,*on September 30, 1992, Council adopted Resolution No. 3674 accepting bids for the bond issue, and; WHEREAS, the City needs to complete the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project to provide additional treatment plant capacity; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 399, entitled "1992 Water and Sewer Construction Fund" to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 399 to accomplish the Water Treatment Plant Expansion project and related work at the treatment plant site. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the Public Works Director, under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. —1— •
