0IFETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO./Q/9-9: <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund entitled "1992 Water and Sewer Construction Fund" <br /> Fund 399 to accumulate all Design and Construction costs l'or the Water Treatment Plant <br /> Expansion Project. <br /> WHEREAS, on February 19, 1992, Council adopted Resolution No. 3600 declaring intent to <br /> issue water and sewer bonds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, on September 23, 1992, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1891-92 authorizing the <br /> issuance and sale of water and sewer revenue bonds in the amount of $8,000,000.00, and; <br /> WHEREAS,*on September 30, 1992, Council adopted Resolution No. 3674 accepting bids for <br /> the bond issue, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City needs to complete the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project to <br /> provide additional treatment plant capacity; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: A special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 399, entitled <br /> "1992 Water and Sewer Construction Fund" to accomplish the actions authorized in this <br /> ordinance. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from <br /> Fund 399 to accomplish the Water Treatment Plant Expansion project and related work at the <br /> treatment plant site. <br /> Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the Public Works Director, under direction of <br /> the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> —1— • <br />
