• <br /> Section 6: Change of Occupancy. <br /> No change shall be made in the character of occupancies or use of any building <br /> which would place the building in a different division of the same group of <br /> occupancy or in a different group of occupancies, unless such building is made to <br /> comply with the requirements of this ordinance for such division or group of <br /> occupancy. <br /> Section 7: Conflicting Provisions. <br /> In the event there is a conflict between the provisions of this ordinance and <br /> the provisions of the UBC or UFC, the more restrictive provision shall apply. <br /> Section 8: Rules. <br /> The City of Everett Fire Chief in concert with the City of Everett Building <br /> Official is hereby authorized to promulgate rules for the interpretation and <br /> implementation of this ordinance. <br /> Section 9: Appeals. <br /> The Board of Appeals created pursuant to Ordinance No. 351-75 shall hear <br /> written orders issued by the Fire Marshal and Building Official . Appeals must be <br /> filed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the written order <br /> by the aggrieved party. The aggrieved party shall cause to be made at their own <br /> expense any tests or research required to substantiate the claim. <br /> 6 <br />
