Account Number(s):401-5600-121923410 <br /> Budget Remaining 2,900. <br /> Additional Required -0- <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> Over 10 years ago, Everett, as a major regional water supplier,joined with other regional suppliers in the <br /> Snohomish, King, and Pierce County areas to form the Water Supply Forum. The Forum coordinates and <br /> performs regional water supply-related activities. It recently completed the"Regional Water Supply Outlook <br /> for Central Puget Sound". Its ongoing activities include updating a regional drought and fish response plan <br /> and a public information outreach on regional water issues such as conservation and greenhouse gas <br /> reduction in utility management. The annual dues for the 10 members of the Forum are established each year <br /> depending on the annual work plan and available balance. For 2011, the annual dues will be$72,000, of <br /> which $17,100 has been allocated to Everett. The proposed funding agreement for the Forum is five years <br /> ending December 31, 2015. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the 5-year Water Supply Forum Funding Agreement for 2011-2015. <br /> 35 <br />
