I grew up in Lake Stevens/Snohomish and have been involved in Everett-life for many years. <br /> Board(s)/Commission(s) of interest: Cultural Arts Commission <br /> Why do you want to serve on this board/commission? <br /> I am an appreciator of the quality and volume of existing arts and art experiences in Everett. I desire to be part <br /> of the commission that is prioritizing ART and making it accessible and enriching to the residents of my town. <br /> It's made a difference in the quality of my life! <br /> Please provide background, experience, and qualifications that would assist you in <br /> serving on this board/commission: I am a graphic designer(packaging and print)and artist by <br /> trade. I <br /> have a B.S. in Illustration and have a deep love and appreciate of all things creative. Since I was a child,I've <br /> been attending Everett art events with my family, Currently.I'm freelancing for some of the Cultural Arts <br /> Department's graphic design needs. <br /> List past or present community involvement: <br /> I attend as many local events as possible including EP Library events,Village Theatre productions,waterfront <br /> concert series&farmers market. I support local businesses as much as possible. I have been involved with <br /> the Lowell Art Works drawing group. I currently organize a book club with a dozen people and volunteer <br /> at various events.
