I have always heen impressed with the <br /> excellent use of resources that the arts community in Everett uses to support its art programming and I'd like to <br /> be a part of that. As a career journalist covering trhe arts for 35 years,I have seen how targeted support for the <br /> arts can have such an impact,even with limited financial resources. <br /> Please provide background, experience, and qualifications that would assist you in <br /> serving on this board/commission: worked for four newspapers in arts coverage,including 22 years at <br /> the Everett Herald and six years at the Seattle Times.I also had an arts program on KSER community radio. <br /> List past or present community involvement: I am a member of the Zonta Club of Everett, <br /> supporting the status of women worldwide,the daughters of the American Revolution Cascade Chapter, <br /> supporting education, genealogy,and we support veterans and armed services. Also a member of the Women's <br /> Book Club of Everett.
