SSHB <br /> 1481 included the following requirements: <br /> • Certain local jurisdictions must adopt development regulations allowing electric vehicle <br /> infrastructure as a permitted use in all areas except those zoning for residential and resources use. <br /> • Jurisdictions must maintain SEPA exemptions for electric vehicle infrastructure. <br /> • Electric vehicle infrastructure includes battery charging stations, battery exchange stations, and rapid <br /> charging stations. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt Ordinance amending the zoning code regarding electric vehicle infrastructure pursuant to SSHB 1481. <br /> 1 <br />
