The Request For Proposals was <br /> advertised in the Herald and posted online. Four proposals were received. After careful evaluation, <br /> including interviews with three finalists,it was determined that Advanced Broadcast Solutions provided the <br /> most advantageous proposal. Specifically,ABS offers the right mix of technical expertise and broadcast <br /> installation experience to meet the City's needs at a competitive price. <br /> The project cost in the amount of$469,024.66 will be paid from the subscriber fee(PEG)capital reserve. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award RFP 2010-021 for Everett TV Broadcast Upgrades and Authorize the Mayor to Sign a Contract with <br /> Advanced Broadcast Solutions in the amount of$469,024.66, including Washington State Sales Tax. <br />
