PURL/C WON 0rs <br /> February 5, 1992 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION <br /> SUBJECT: Boeing Aircraft Company <br /> UBC Sections 506(b) & 1716 <br /> Major Assembly Buildings <br /> ACTION: <br /> Four levels, in addition to the ground level, are allowed when situated within <br /> the 50' wide "tower" sections of the building. It shall also be acceptable <br /> for these levels to be occupied for office use. <br /> Findings: <br /> * The building is limited to two floors by Section 506(b) . If one level is <br /> taken to be the second floor, Section 1716 allows for two additional <br /> mezzanine levels. A third level of mezzanine, although disallowed by <br /> Section 1716, would still not bring the total area of mezzanines to the <br /> building floor area divided by three (the prescribed maximum area per <br /> Section 1716) . <br /> * All levels will have two enclosed stairway shafts of two hour fire <br /> resistive construction which lead directly through an exit passageway.
