Interfaith Association — Maintenance &Operation <br /> These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with running Interfaith <br /> family shelter. <br /> Recommended 2011 - 2060 funds: $45,000.00 <br /> 7. Boys and Girls Club —Club Improvements <br /> The Boys and Girls Club will use these funds to make improvements to the North Everett, Cascade, <br /> and/or Casino Road Club(s). <br /> Recommended 2011 - CDBG Funds: $88,599.70 <br /> 8. Community Development Block Grant - Administration & Planning <br /> Administration is an important aspect of the CDBG program, making sure of the timely completion <br /> of projects and proper management of sub grantees. <br /> The planning aspect of the CDBG funding complements the physical improvements in the <br /> neighborhoods by promoting appropriate land use, historic preservation, and economic development <br /> planning. <br /> Recommended 2011 - CDBG Funds: $200,000.00 <br /> 9. Cocoon House— Maintenance &Operation <br /> These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with running Cocoon <br /> House's youth shelters on Cedar and Pine Streets. <br /> Recommended 2011 - 2060 funds: $18,000.00 <br /> 10. Cocoon House— U-Turn Facility Acquisition <br /> These funds will be used as part of a funding package to acquire the building located at 1601 <br /> Broadway to be used as a teen resource drop-in center for street youth ages 13-20 years old. The <br /> youth will be provided with food, survival supplies (jackets, socks, hygiene items, etc.), HN/STD <br /> screening and physical exams, day to day life skills guidance, and a warm, safe place to relax. <br /> Recommended 2011 - CDBG funds: $70,000.00 <br /> 11. Friends of Youth — Roof Replacement <br /> Friends of Youth will use these funds for two safety improvement projects at their transitional living <br /> facility for homeless young adults located at 1734 121st Street SE. <br /> Recommended 2011 - 2060 Funding $8,500.00 <br /> 13 <br />
