6 <br /> EXHIBIT A-1 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> WPCF PHASE B-2 EXPANSION <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following identifies additional scope of work items to be added to the B-2 contract between <br /> the City of Everett and Carollo Engineers. These work items include bidding assistance and/or <br /> construction assistance for three construction projects at the City of Everett Water Pollution <br /> Control Facility (WPCF) as follows: <br /> • Construction Administration for Phase B-1A Improvements (Upgrade of the rotary arm <br /> flow distribution system on Trickling Filter Nos. 1 and 2). <br /> • •Construction Administration for the Phase B-2 Improvements (Upgrade of the existing <br /> Headworks Structure). <br /> • Bidding Assistance and Construction Administration for the Phase B-2A Improvements <br /> (Upgrade of the Headworks Biofilter Odor Control Facility). <br /> Task 1 Project Management <br /> 1.1 Engineers Responsibilities, Item 4 is modified to read: <br /> 4. The services for this task will extend for the time period from April 1, 2010 through <br /> February 28, 2012. <br /> Task 3 Final Design for B-1A <br /> This task is amended to include construction assistance. 3.1 Engineers Responsibilities is <br /> amended to include the following: <br /> 5. Make visits to the site as requested by the City to observe status of construction or <br /> to respond to field issues as required including representation of the following <br /> disciplines: <br /> • Structural — 2 visits <br /> • Mechanical — 2 visits <br /> • Electrical — 2 visits <br /> This is based on a maximum of 6 site visits <br /> 6. Respond to the City's request to evaluate Contractors Request for Information <br /> (RFIs). The budget is based on responding to 10 RFIs. <br /> 7. Attendance at monthly construction meetings by Project Manager and Project <br /> Engineer or Electrical Engineer as requested by the City. <br /> 8. Review Contractor's schedule and compare to baseline schedule (monthly). <br /> Task 7 Contingency <br /> 9 Y <br /> 7.1 Engineers Responsibilities is modified to read: <br /> 1.
