6 EXHIBIT A-1 CITY OF EVERETT WPCF PHASE B-2 EXPANSION SCOPE OF WORK The following identifies additional scope of work items to be added to the B-2 contract between the City of Everett and Carollo Engineers. These work items include bidding assistance and/or construction assistance for three construction projects at the City of Everett Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) as follows: • Construction Administration for Phase B-1A Improvements (Upgrade of the rotary arm flow distribution system on Trickling Filter Nos. 1 and 2). • •Construction Administration for the Phase B-2 Improvements (Upgrade of the existing Headworks Structure). • Bidding Assistance and Construction Administration for the Phase B-2A Improvements (Upgrade of the Headworks Biofilter Odor Control Facility). Task 1 Project Management 1.1 Engineers Responsibilities, Item 4 is modified to read: 4. The services for this task will extend for the time period from April 1, 2010 through February 28, 2012. Task 3 Final Design for B-1A This task is amended to include construction assistance. 3.1 Engineers Responsibilities is amended to include the following: 5. Make visits to the site as requested by the City to observe status of construction or to respond to field issues as required including representation of the following disciplines: • Structural — 2 visits • Mechanical — 2 visits • Electrical — 2 visits This is based on a maximum of 6 site visits 6. Respond to the City's request to evaluate Contractors Request for Information (RFIs). The budget is based on responding to 10 RFIs. 7. Attendance at monthly construction meetings by Project Manager and Project Engineer or Electrical Engineer as requested by the City. 8. Review Contractor's schedule and compare to baseline schedule (monthly). Task 7 Contingency 9 Y 7.1 Engineers Responsibilities is modified to read: 1.
